I want to attend a couple get togethers this year, hopefully mini cons, with some of my airline miles. If all else fails I'll go to BGG.con in Dallas. Would have hit Trashfest this year but my dad had to go and have brain surgery...

My resolution is to not make any resolutions about games. I'm just gonna play 'em. Maybe too much, maybe not enough. Nothing in particular, just whatever seems fun at the time. Not buying many isn't a resolution, it's a lifestyle choice.

-I guess a resolution I can make right now is paint some dang minis. I only painted a few dozen this year. I've felt very good about modeling, I've put together several hundred minis, but painting just isn't clicking still.
-Pick up a copy of the BGG card game for Secret Satan 2015
-Get those Buffy and Xena CCGs to the table
-read some more Appendix N stuff

But it's not really a resolution it's just how I've felt lately... I like writing them down here because there's a good chance I'll see it again a year from now.

Aren't most resolutions related to lifestyle choice? Stick to a diet, go to the gym, etc.

Iron Cheapskate 2014
So far I am on track to succeed.
For 2015, and hopefully going forward, I am not spending money on something unless it is at least two years old. So I will buy games released in 2013 and earlier, etc.
This will have the obvious effect of eliminating Kickstarters, but also make sure I don't get caught up in cult-of-the-new (I have a weakness regarding the hype train).

No resolution, probably just staying the couse I set a couple years ago of buying expansions.
And hosting a TrashFest.

2. Continue to only get a few games a year at Xmas and my birthday to avoid clunkers
3. Get rid of the few completely unplayed games that I don't even want to waste time on because I'd much rather play the great games I have. (looking at you Vegas Showdown ordered in 2006)
4. Sell friggin Starcraft! (or... maybe play it again?)
5. Organize at least 3 TI3 games and 1 Risk Legacy session
6. Get more gaming into my routine
