LOTR: LCG Lot Trade/Sell Worth? was created by Da Bid Dabid
I told a friend I would help introduce him to trading/selling board games via the various internet channels. I have a pretty good idea about most of the stuff he is looking to unload except know nothing about LOTR: LCG. Since that particular game seems to be well represented around here can anyone give me a ballpark value on this lot.
LOTR:
Base Set x2
-Khazad dum expansion set
-6 adventure packs for Shadows of Mirkwood Cycle
-Redhorn Gate adventure pack
Feel free to PM me if anyone is interested and I can pass along the info to him.

I'd say around 100, maybe 90? you can get it all brand new for about $140 shipped.

I'd agree with that. The thing is, when you're selling a set like this, you're also selling the premium advantage of a one stop purchase- it's kind of hard for example to get all of one of the cycles at the same time from an online retailer since Tyler drift in and out of stock. You're selling a convenience along with the product, and I think that warrants a slightly higher resale value.

If it's any help, I recently picked up the following from UK eBay for £130. As Michael said, I placed much value on the convenience (but still felt I got a bargain):
- core set
- 6 x Mirkwood adventure packs
- Khazad-dum
- 5 x Darrowdelf adventure packs
- Osgiliath adventure pack
- Numenor
- Hobbit: Over Hill & Under Hill

I'm probably going to offload my LOTR:LCG stuff as well, but will wait till a con so I can try for a trade. I'm just not that much into the pre-game deck building part. Hopefully the Pathfinder card game has more story and less sorting through cards to make a deck.

If anyone is trying to unload Foundations of Stone, Shadow and Flame, The Long Dark, The Watcher in the Water, or either (both) Hobbit boxes, get in touch, I'm sure we can work something out. The more you have, the better.
