BARNES' 2013 GAME SALE- PRICES SLASHED!

Reposting with some SLASHED prices to save you money and get you the best gaming value for the money...next stop is ebay for some of these, so buy before you have to BID on them!

IT IS TIME ONCE AGAIN.

That’s right, dearest friends and loyal customers, for the 2013 Barnes’ Post-Gen Con End of Summer Back to School Saleabration! What's up Doug? Andy? I’ve been accumulating games just to sell them to you, and I’ve got a tasty list here with CAN’T BE BEAT prices here for your perusal. As usual, most items ship for $12 priority, big boxes more, and I can combine to SAVE YOU MONEY. That’s right, by spending money at BPGCEoSBtSS, you actually SAVE money. Sound crazy? IT IS!

Here we go…everything like new, complete, undamaged, etc. unless specified:

Arkham Horror TINDALOS TREAT package- This is the base game (2nd edition), Dunwich Horror, Kingsport Horror, Innsmouth Horror, Curse of the Dark Pharoah (original edition), Black Goat of the Woods, King in Yellow. Shipping will be extra on this one since it’s four boxes. I do not have the small expansion boxes, but the rules sheets are included. There may still be a couple of oddities in there, prototype material from when Launius was testing out some different ideas. $110 PRICE SLASHED TO $100

Lord of the Rings LCG ULTIMATE MIDDLE-EARTH “SHARE THE LOAD” edition- As seen in last week’s pre-sale post but only Sevej nipped at it, balking at the shipping rates to Indonesia. This is effectively three core sets (minus the needless extra cards that you can’t use) so you have three of everything from the cores and enough Gandalfs to go around. Also included are every expansion and adventure deck through the Khazad-Dum cycle. AND the first of the Hobbit deluxe expansions. This is around $400 worth of cards at retail. I offered it at $215 shipped last post, I am cutting the price to $200 shipped here. Unless you’re in Indonesia, which would probably be like $250 shipped. I’m just sayin’, Sev. ;-) PRICE SLASHED TO $190 _SHIPPED!_ ($225 for Sev!)

Runewars TERRINOTH MASTERS BUNDLE- This is the main game, 1st edition with the DELUXE plastic mountains and JUMBO box that can double as a midget coffin. Or, you can just store the ENTIRE Banners of War expansion box in it which is also included! That’s right, this is EVERYTHING Runewars in one complete package. And since they now sell the game in that puny little box, this is the RARE HE-MAN EDITION! $75, shipping will be about $20 depending on where you live PRICE SLASHED TO $80 SHIPPED!

Kings of Air and Steam- Like steampunk? What about trains? HOW ABOUT BOTH?!?! It is truly a peanut butter and chocolate combination here folks in this fine transportation game with REAL PAPER MONEY and dirigibles! $25 YOU ARE PRACTICALLY STEALING THIS FOR THE SLASHED PRICE OF $20!

Titanium Wars- This game is so great that STONECUTTER has already bought it from me! Or has he? We cut a deal Friday but I haven’t heard back from him. Put your name on the waiting list in case he bails! $25 THAT'S RIGHT, $20 since Stonecutter bailed!

Thunderstone Starter Set- “Barnes, where do I start with Thunderstone”? Answer? HERE. This is a stripped-down and streamlined starter box for Thunderstone that plays pretty darn fine by itself. If you want more, it’s out there. It also works as an expansion if you’re already invested down Thunderstone way. $15 WHAT CRAZY PERSON WOULD SELL THIS FOR JUST $12? BARNES WOULD!

These deals are really unbelievable. Buy now before I go to Ebay!

Nah, got your LoTR LCG from the last time.

Quite fancy Mage Wars but can't see me playing it here. Need good solo games.

Yeah, it's tough to solo...you _can_, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to build out two decks and manage reactions. Might I interest you in Legends of Andor, which is a perfectly viable solo game?

Why are you getting rid of Runewars, MB? It's such an awesome game!

Rarely played...if we're doing something like that, we tend to go for CitoW or something like Kemet. I actually haven't even played it with the expansion. It's also my second copy of the game, I bought it again thinking that I would force it back on to the table, but it never happened.

I'll let you know if I decide to let it go...I played it last night with a buddy and REALLY liked it though, let me get through the review cycle and see if it's something I want to permashelve.

Trains will likely get the "permasleeve" treatment at my house. I will review it in a few weeks. Knowing how Barnes and I have operated in the past, the reviews will probably fall in the same week.

Well maybe I'll just review it Thursday then! :-P

It's definitely one that sneaks up on you...you think "meh, Dominion"...but then the more concrete context and physical representation of what you're doing hits as does spatial competition...my first game didn't impress me much, but once the combos started rolling out and the strategic blocking with the stations...I got it.
