So, I'm coming here, to "my people" for the money.
What do I have that you want, you ask?
PLENTY.
I have Heroscape up the wazoo, to begin with. As much as I love it and promised myself I'd never get rid of it, well, papa can't hunt deer with my other rifles as they are not suited for hunting anything but MAN. So, here we go.
1 Master Set - Rise of the Valkyrie set+

If you want some of this stuff, Trashmail me. Buyer pays shipping (actual price) and I'll stuff into boxes as possible to make it the cheapest possible.
Thanks!

You should just ask Schweig, he'd probably front you the money.

I believe it's an AR-15. He'll be adding it to his growing post apocalyptic arsenal which if memory serves me correctly also includes a coach gun...so be nice.

I was hoping for a 1892 Springfield or something similar. THAT's a gun that scares off the pigeons.

Yeah, that's what I pictured. Pete needs a rifle about as much as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia needs another girlfriend.

I can't support the purchase of an AR-15 unless he already has an AK-47. I don't think a small caliber rifle like the AR qualifies as a coach gun.
Everyone can always use another rifle/handgun/machine gun.

I own a Maadi AK already, and you knew this, Jake. I also have a Moisin-Nagant but the 7.62x54 is not my fave round and the gun is too heavy, with the bayonet and all. Not sure why a deer would be intimidated by a bayonet anyhow.
@Sag: I'd like an AR but I'll likely end up getting something a little less "pew pew pew" for this purpose. I'd ~really~ like a Steyr Scout or SSG. If I do get an AR, it'll be in the 6.8mm SPC chambering.
@Samoko: I can't use a katana. I haven't figured out how to "Mr. Ed" and make my lips move differently to my speech.
@Shellhead: I have sold off all of my rifles over the years. I only have some old antiques, the Mosin, an SKS, an AK, and my 20ga coachgun. This is why I am realizing that I should've kept my Spanish FR-8 in 308.
I had the Bird's Eye Maple stock. It was incredible looking. Sold it for a pile of money when the timing was right. Sadly, you can't even find them now.

Ah, he would only use the money to buy a pseudo-macho modern semi-automatic that is *safe* to fire and probably wouldn't even contain any wooden bits. Where's the thrill in that?Sagrilarus wrote: You should just ask Schweig, he'd probably front you the money.
Real men use an arquebus with a matchlock, like this woman:
The burning match, the sparks, the gunpowder explosion touching your face, the smell of burning air. It reminds you of a time when government forces could realistically be toppled by ordinary citizens using their second amendment rights. You know, REAL FREEDOM.
(Not the shit slaves had after the Emancipation Proclamation.)

Personally, I think the wankers who talk about "I need my assault rifle to overthrow a tyrannical government" are ludicrously stupid. Last time I checked, a rifle doesn't do shit to take out a tank. Iraq had lots of guys and lots of rifles and LOTS OF TANKS and they still got their ass kicked in a week or two. No, if things go sideways in the good old US of A, we're ALL fucked.
That said...Louis CK was right. A time machine is a white man privilege. A black dude can really only go back to about 1980.
