I SUPPORTED THIS BECAUSE A SET OF 500 CLAY COMPOSITE CHIPS WITHOUT DENOMINATIONS THAT ONLY COSTS $90 MAKES YOU A FUCKING SCRUB NOT FIT TO PLAY EUROS WHERE THE "CURRENCY" ON HAND IS RARELY OVER 100 AT MY TABLE.

I'm not a big fan of playing with poker chips, but my buddy showed up with a high-class set in a briefcase with EVIDENCE tape wrapped around it. That was too cool to pass up.

The people buying the poker chips obviously must not have spent 10 seconds looking up how much custom poker chips cost. I found this site which offers custom chips for cheaper than the kickstarter guy is charging. You'd be better off just buying them from the website I linked.

At least with poker chips you don't have to carry a literal (yes literal) half a ton of metal up a flight of stairs (and then back down when you ship them).

A box of Monopoly costs about 15$. For that I get a complete set of replacement currency in 1$-500$ bills. AND (gasp) it comes with a game!

Or, if you really, really want to get fancy...you can design your own New California Republic dollars, complete with a Photo of Tandi (or whatever you fancy), and have it professionally printed (you'd need to cut it) for around 49 cents a page.
