Oscar nominations are out

No acting nods for The Guard?

I saw Monsieur Lazhar tonight, which is nominated for best foreign film. WHat a brillliant film. It's very heavy, but everything about it is spectacular. The acting, the sound, the camera work, the story, the pacing, everything. Plus I swear that one of the scenes was shot at one of the elementary school I went to in Montreal when I lived there (I stupidly forgot to check to see if the school was mentioned in the credits).

Do yourself a favour and see this film.
