Got My iPad Today

So I decided to sell my iPhone and get an iPad 2. I am so happy I did. This thing is fantastic. In fact, I am using it to write this. I was never able to post her for my phone but I can on the iPad. I can't wait to try out tome good board games and such on here. I also want to find a good dungeon crawler a la Baulders Gate if I can.

But seriously: congrats. Setting aside all other factors, the extra screen real estate is just 50 times easier to play games with. You'll find yourself never wanting to take another turn on an iPhone.

Yeah, ASCENSION is night-and-day on the iPad. And TICKET TO RIDE too. The pocket versions are nice, but it's just so much nicer on the iPad. And browsing? Don't get me started.

I thought the main reason to get an iphone was for the "phone" part myself, I guess some people see it differently. Can you call anyone with the ipad? A bit bulky to carry around.

Well here is my personal point of view: I have a box of phones I have used throughout the years, which I always take very good care of. I had an iPhone 4 and wanted an iPad for the wider variety of board games and just overall increased awesomeness. I have a phone to make calls on and text, and now I have a sweet ass iPad for all the fun stuff. Trust me, play something like Pitfall or ugh, Temple Run on the Pad and the Phone and witness the difference. Night and Day. ALso, it's great for pass and play with my wife.

Ah, so you already had a phone and the iphone was more of a novelty item. In that case the ipad is clearly superior for gaming and your other tactile viewing needs, good choice!

I want to point out that just weeks after ldsdbomber posted that Fleshlight fuckable iPad attachment, QPCloudy sells off his iPhone and gets an iPad.

Not saying that it's related....

iPad gaming is so much better than iPhone gaming. I have a hard time wanting to play games on my phone.

On an unrelated note, I just got an iPhone 5 yesterday after having a 3GS for the last 3 years. It's pretty insane how much faster it is (and I'm not talking about LTE).
