So it is out and I really like the new cards. However, what a bitch it is connecting to playdek's servers. It really is random when it will or won't let me on. Anyone else having that problem?

I was on OK last night, but I haven't purchased the expansion. Can you give me a rundown on what the expansion adds?

The biggest addition are soul gems. They are basically one use cards that are copies of other center row cards. You use it the turn you acquire it the. Banish it immediately. Also more events are added.

Once you update the app you will have to create a playdek profile. All done in app. A confirmation email is sent, but it doesn't tell you that. Just a heads up so when you see it hanging on "connecting" that first time, you don't panic.

I picked it up. I like it so far. Soul Gems don't appear to be that big of a deal.

I've found they can get pretty beefy in certain combos. The set plays VERY different if u combine with Storm of Souls vs on its own. Playing a match of each with Duke at the moment.
