The return of TEARDOWN Space Hulk! sort of....

For those of you who have pplayed and enjoyed Teardown's online version of Space Hulk , well, get your popcorn ready because those boys are about to release Alien Assault.

"Say what now?" To make a long story short, TD got dicked around by GW, who then got sick of the endless e-mails and phone calls, and basically told the boys from TD that THQ owns all the licensing rights to any SH video game and that if they okay THEN Teardown Space Hulk vs 1.1 (which fixes all the bugs and rule problems from the earlier release we all know) can go online.

It was then THQ's turn to dick the the Teardown crew a while until they finally decided to fully protect their licensing rights and not allow TDSH v 1.1 to be released.

At which point the TD crew made the smartest decision they've made as of yet, and rethemed their magnum opus as Alien Assault-- due for release September 30th.

If this thing is half as hard-on inducing as I suspect it to be, I'll definately be throwing a few bucks their way via their new donate button-- then second best idea they've had.

Y'all should go check it out.

Thanks for the update on this. I wondered if anything was going to come of this, but I really didn't want to be one of those irritating emails. Absolutely worth a donation...

BROKEN LINK FIXED.

The TD boys just posted some screen shots and the game looks feaking fantastic! One of the in game shots even includes a timer with the words "END OF ROUND 3" on it!
