I never post here. This is not a boardgame related thread, but it's darned interesting. Thought you might enjoy.
Kaos is set to release a version of Homefront where (ala Red Dawn) USA is invaded by North Korea. You can check the trailer here... www.homefront-game.com/#/home
But what is interesting is the pre-release ad campaign. Here in LA Korean Taco truck have become the trendy new places to eat with lunchtime crowds down the block. Kaos has launched the campaign with their own North Korean taco trucks (Pyongyang Express) complete with No. Korean flag and a waving Kim Jong-il plastered on the side. They are not running the venture to make a profit and offer the food at 1/2 the price of the other trucks. Their slogan 'Food for a Better America’. Also they offer to pay for parking at large events where parking is normally $15-20 to anyone who comes flying a North Korean flag from their car.

I think it's a daring and creative ad campaign. After watching a few seasons of Mad Men, you really appreciate the 'out of the box' thinking that goes into something like this.
It'll be interesting to see what they do next..........

careful... too many threads about video games will make this site implode.
The funny thing is that Barnes will get blamed for it

Did somebody say VIDEO GAMES?!
I've been watching HOMEFRONT. It looks and sounds interesting...but this ad campaign...brilliant! I love it. I'm surprised it's not generated more controversy. The DANTE'S INFERNO stuff caused a real shitstorm, but this isn't really getting widespread notice. At least not yet.
There are actually places in the US where it may be illegal for them to do this stuff. I think in Alabama for example it's illegal to transport Communist paraphenalia of any kind.
The taco truck, that's hilarious.
Don Draper and co. wouldn't have had anything to do with this though...some of those guys are Korean War vets!
