It's always ok for Romans with effete upperclass British accents to get all stabby with their toga wearing peers. Et tu Brutus?

Sorry Charlie, but for someone as immersed in this hobby as you seem to be, you know fuck all about how to monetize and profit from a game concept.
You say it's a three player game. So, you should release it with enough stuff In the box for only one player and instruct consumers to purchase multiple sets if they want "the whole experience". -or- Better yet. Release it with enough stuff in the box for one player as a solo game. Then 6 months later expand it for two with some new faction cards and a deck for second player. Repeat in another 6 months for 3rd player.
Also. I have fantastic idea for your promo item. A plastic spoon with instructions on how to sharpen it into a Shiv. This will help create a buzz at gaming conventions. People will see other folks walking around with their homemade shiv, and ask "where'd you get that?"

Zev was a judge and was at my table first. We talked about Daredevil, Z-Man, Pete Ruth, and a couple other things before it started which was fun.

I figure I kind of owe people an update on this since you all have been helpful and supportive.
It looks like there's an excellent shot of this getting published, albeit with a less gritty feel. The theme will be robot prison gangs in the future (robots are deemed near-human and can't be disassembled, hence incarceration). So think Bender with a bandana and a shank.
Pete's already given me shit about it but I'd rather be a sell out than give up free time I don't have to try and be Nate Hayden and sell 100-200 copies. Anyway, this isn't 100% and I'm undergoing the next step in development to get the next iteration ready for Gen Con. I'd be shocked if this falls through though based on the publisher's feedback and interest.

Why are robots such a thing now? Robot gladiators, robot baseball players and now robot prison inmates? LAME>
Make em clay golem inmates. More realistic.
