i also got Terra Mystica more than a year ago and never played it. Ugh. I was thinking maybe Star Wars Rebellion would wake me the board-gamer in me which has gone dormant for far too long. It's hilarious what spaceships will do to a person. I mean look at the videogame thread, i almost bought a game which lets me park vehicles...only cuz they're spaceships.

Wiz-War re-released in 2012, and Gorechosen in 2016.
Heroscape was also re-released as a magic rebranding in 2015, which is currently on fire sale everywhere.
Otherwise, you didn't miss much in your slumber. Everything else is unremarkable compared to the above.
The fuck man, you didn't even mention the new Blood Bowl and the Codegames. Gorechosen looks pretty great though

Blood bowl... Meh. I don't have the constant hardcore opponents to make it worth it, now that I pretend I'm grown up.
I think that's a problem with a lot of lifestyle games anymore. Great stuff, but you need to be a part of a hardcore community to make it worth the trouble.

At least it is a long, slow shit slide down. We are going on 10 years of steady decline.

Codenames is great. I play it a lot.
Gary Sax only plays Argent: the Consortium.
Jeb only plays Hearthstone I think.
Michael only buys minis. I'm not totally clear on whether he actually plays them, or just talks about playing them here.
Some people left. Other new people came. A couple (like me) went silent for an extended stretch but I can't quit you, F:AT.

They are setting up the modelling and painting sub-site (we are raising a petition to have it legally emancipated from F:AT and certain F:AT cards to be changed to associate or prospect level).

We have 6, but it's important that a player can get up to grab a beer, fiddle with something, or vomit without breaking the pace of the game. Codenames allows this very fluidly, so it works great as a party game.

But chatting about Blood Bowl, DreadBall, and Wiz-War is cool too.

That's fair. I enjoy Codenames quite a bit; I've got Pictures too. I've seen a black box at Target that is apparently more "adult." It features such risque words as MELONS.
My favorite moment in Codenames pictures so far was when my fiancée and I almost won in two 4-word clues. I connected a toilet, a table, and a couple bottled beverages by saying COFFEE: 4 to open, and then she got 3/4 after that, only to hit the Assassin on her last try. The one she was waffling between was the word to win though! Fictional characters also work very well if you've consumed some of the same media.
