The have said repeatedly it is a game previously unannounced by them. It's not an expansion, and they have already announced stuff like 'blood royale' and most of the other games mentioned.

It's also the 3rd in a series (best till last?) but they are announcing it AFTER 2 coffins. So it has to be a wowser title otherwise it will be the least impressive as its the smallest of the 3.

Therefor Mr Logic says it must be DungeonQuest, which had the rumor go around a month ago FFG had the rights to, but they have never mentioned.

Hopefully it will come with an 'advanced' game option.

What are the odds it'll have a fantasy or space theme?

It's the Arkham Horror dice game...

There are a lot of dice...

It would be cool if it was something entirely different. And it would make sense. That would give them a fantasy game, a sci-fi game, and a - say - steampunk game or something. But maybe the feel of something different could be gained by having a game thats definitely not about war. DUNGEONQUEST would fit the bill, but as much as I have fond memories of playing DRAGEBORGEN (the Danish name - litterally "Dragon Castle") I'm not as excited about it as I am with the two other games.

Maybe FFG will shock us all with a Euro a la Kingsburg, Lord of the Rings, Blue Moon City or a puzzle game like Ingenious.

I'm hoping for something 2-4 players in 60 mins.

Maybe an extra superdeluxe version of Hey! That's My Lederhosen!

Want.

Maybe they committed heavily to the mechanics developed for Middle Earth Quest and are about to release a similar game set in the Game of Thrones setting? Westeros Quest would be an awkward name, though... maybe Fire & Ice Quest.

The irony is that if it is another fantasy or SF themed game, at this point that's just about as thrilling at face value as if it turns out to be some boring Euro a la KINGSBURG. Stock SF and fantasy ideas are almost as cliched at this point as oregano trading and authority figure impressing.

I'd love to see it turn out to be a serious, thematic business game. FFG doesn't have a single one in their stable. Fat chance, I know.

GAME OF THRONES QUEST...eh. I can't imagine being less interested in a title than that, it'd have to have some pretty compelling mechanics and gameplay to get me on board. I don't like the license, and I haven't played MEQ enough as it is.

FF is established as a Fantasty / Sci Fi brand, expecting them to branch out is like asking Rio Grande to release a monster war game.

GMT seems to be the only 'big' (relatively) company willing to experiment with genres they don't normally dabble in. I am hoping they are on to something with that sim city type game that's coming out.

Flight of the Giants has been announced without any trumpets, so I think it's safe to assume that's not it. My guess for one of them had been a big WoW package, maybe with a dozen planes or more.

Even in sci-fi and fantasy, FFG is missing some obvious subgenres. There's currently no superhero game in their catalog, licensed or otherwise. And there's no post-apocalyptic car battle game.

Also, it's inevitable that somebody will eventually publish a John Carter of Mars game. Maybe FFG will snag the license?

AFTERTHOUGHT:

For years, I've wanted them to do a coffin-box sized Big City-type game, but with game play that is more like a political game and less like Ticket to Ride. And it needs to come with a metric ton of plastic buildings.

Whoa there boss...

TIDE OF IRON
WINGS OF WAR
INGENIOUS
RATTLESNAKE
PENGUIN
MOTO GRAND PRIX
TRIBUNE
COLD WAR: CIA VS. KGB
CONDOTIERRE
THROUGH THE DESERT

They branch out...some.

Most of those are small, quick games though.

Ok, there are some exceptions, mostly proving the rule.

Maybe a business game with plastic dudes?
