Star Wars Starship Battles; Shite or Salvagable?

Well, the verdict is in. I bought a starter and booster, and played 3 matches last night...

The question was "Is this game salvageable?" Which it completely is. It is light and fast and somewhat underdeveloped.

But a 1.5? Cmon. this ranks at least a 2.5

Out of 5? Hell no. It got a 3/10 (1.5/5) because it IS salvagable. Games that are completely shite....well...

If it makes you feel better, I really was considering to give it a 2/5 but the wife would've flayed my scrotum and burned my nuts in front of me. She REALLY, REALLY hated the game. She even said something to the tune of: "Laaaaaame. A laaaaaaame ass clusterfuck. What the hell was the guy who made that thinking? I'll never play it with you again, ever. Maybe <our 9-year old> will, but you can forget me playing it. That game sucked assholes and dirty feet."

Ewww … I didn't know that's where you kept your Dragon Dice! Now I'm going to have to disinfect all of mine.

Seriously though, I think you should send me another Dragon Die every time you take a gander at your Star Wars Starship Battles miniatures.

If I didn't already have a ton of stuff on my desks at work, I'd probably have some of my Star Wars ships displayed there. At least the Star Destroyers anyways as those look pretty damned cool. Just wish the blockade runner were to the right scale. I'd probably also have some of my stormtroopers from the Minis game.

Played the regular minis game a few times. Thought it was okay.

The real shame about WotC not renewing the license is with the RPG. Seriously, Saga edition is GREAT. It was sort of a testing ground for 4E, but 4E turned out having vague references to Saga and everything else was replaced with lameass MMO shit.
