Tom Vasel FTW
Tom shreds Vasco da Gama appropriately. BGGers shout in protest.

Read: "Please don't have a different opinion. It hurts my self-confidence. Waah!"
EDIT: I particularly also like this comment: "The sheer amount of sarcasm and subjectivity made me unable to thumb the review." Aaaahhh!

I'd better get my Ponce de Leon game published before someone else swipes the name. It's got simultaneous action selection AND worker placement! The good news is that they will eventually run out of Renaissance-era explorers to name games after.

My favorite part is where they accuse him of being a closet ATer...you know, like its a BAD thing or something
My impression has always been that Tom plays all of the game types. I just think he justly enjoys the stuff with exciting action and heavy themes more.
The fact the people are aggressively aggravated that Tom's tastes are 'incorrect' is incredibly silly.

That name implies questing for the Fountain of Youth, which might actually be fun.

I believe with this and the comments on Jeb's blog post, BGG bashing season has started again. It's been some time.
For a long time now, I've been saying that we should just stop talking about BGG and focus on our own stuff. However, there is a very vocal segment at BGG that just plain sucks, and some of them keep bad-mouthing F:AT and/or AmeriTrash games. Fuck them and their ugly, brown, prince-pleasing farmer games. They are idiotic control freaks and they don't deserve any respect from anybody.

Of course in an eurogame about Ponce de Leon, he would actually find the fountain and the winner is the player who helped him the most. The starting player is the person who last had a bath. If this method remains inconclusive, which might occur at the average eurogamer convention, then players are urged to call out a random number, which are added up and the sum taken modulo by the number of players. A die is not included.generalpf wrote:
