Can I just share my happy day today?

Finalized a trade today. My Battlelore plus all the expansions, excluding the Troll map for:

Cash n Guns
Nexus Ops
Tales of the Arabian Nights (brand new!!)
Lifeboat + expansion
Carcassone the City

and 20 dollars.

EDIT: Change that 20 dollars to Settlers of Catan!

Life is good. I would like to thank Mr. Skeletor who inspired me to do this. I saw his post a couple of days back where he listed that he was trading away Battlelore and I thought "Oh wow. What a great idea."

Now I can go join the Battlelore bashers. Wheeee.

I feel like we should have some kind of "Former BATTLELORE owners" jacket that we could put on you to welcome you into this club.

Congratulations on getting rid of a steaming pile of shit and getting four great games and one OK one in return. And money too! That's awesome. I would have just taken the $20 to get BATTLELORE out of the house.

WOW. That's great, man. Seriously--that's freakish great. I even like CARCASSONNE:THE CITY! That's one of the prettiest games I've played. I want to take a picture of the end of every game. It's a game my four-year-old can play, as well, so lots of upside.

Man how did you pull that off? I was glad I managed to unload my copy of BattleLore, Call to Arms, Earth Elemental, Hill Giant during the last Arms Trade, and I got Lord of the Rings and two expansions.

Decide not to take any money, and get Settlers of Catan instead. YEY.

I found a guy who had a bunch of games he didn't want, and was set on buying Battlelore next year. Shipping to our country is horrible, so this was actually a steal for him too. As you know, Battlelore is really heavy.

We're meeting up on Sunday to trade the goods. He's a man of his word, so I don't think he'll back out or whatever. He's an awesome dude.

Somewhere else online, there is probably some dude bragging about his end of this trade. I think that you got the better end of the deal, but the only game on your list that sort of interests me is Arabian Knights, and I still think there's only a 50/50 chance that I will like it. I have Cash'n'Guns, but I'm done with it and just need to sell/trade it to one of my friends.

Does BattleLore really carry that much weight? I may have to try to trade away mine!

I think if you've got the Hill Giant and the Earth Elemental, it might make the game worth more in trade until the monster pack comes out with the other giant and elemental?
