New Trailer:
Action looks great, not sure I'm down with the soundtrack in this trailer though. As a whole, I'm not sure I like this trailer as much as the one we saw earlier this year. The editing makes it look and sound like every other action film. These trailer guys can learn from the Hobbit trailer. Slow down the pacing.

I swear, if Spike Lee/Mark Protosevich fuck up OldBoy I'm sailing for the Pirate Bay.
There's a remake of Old Boy coming? sigh.....

I will also try to see Don Coscarelli's new film: John Dies At the End. I just saw the trailer for that and it seems like its gonna be a good time.

Ooooh, and Avengers. Funny story, I work for the electric company here in Cleveland, and one morning when I got to work we had an email that said there were wires down near explosives on a movie set. So yeah, my wires almost blew up Iron Man.

My brother will probably drag me to see The Avengers or the new Spiderman film (I think that is coming out next year). To be honest though, I'm pretty burnt out on all of the superhero blockbusters. I just want to see the Expendables and The Hobbit. Hollywood really doesn't make enough brainless action films these days, and we surely don't get many big budget, high fantasy films...so I'll certainly savor those two films.

John Dies at the End is an absolutely awesome book, I hope the movie does it justice.

I'm hoping to read it prior to seeing the film. I've heard good things! While I can't say for sure because of my lack of knowledge with the book - I think the movie is in the right hands. From what I've seen in the trailer its gonna be a fun flick.
