Episode 10 is titled "Leviathan Wakes", same as the book, so I thought it would conclude the first tome.
If you haven't read the books, KEEP OUT!
Warning: Spoiler! My guess is that 'Leviathan Wakes' refers to the protomolecule eating everything on Eros. Season 2 would pick up afterwards. Like I said, though, I wouldn't mind being wrong.
I haven't read them, so from your post I surmise that the "leviathan wakes" midway through the novel. Watched episode 5 last night, genocide!

In the 'different from the novel' department, the novel doesn't go into much detail on how The Butcher of Anderson Station got his nickname. There's a separate novella/short story that covers it (which I haven't read), but the novel itself just lets you know that with that nickname Johnson is Not One To Be Messed With.

I like the show, a lot. But damn, they are dragging it out, really burying the lead. I just hope it has enough excitement from what they will show that folks tune in a year later.

Proxy server isn't the problem, I already have one of those.
Maybe someone could put the episodes in drop box and share a link. Wait--are you American? Because it is a US network.
If the series runs out of money they can always make the bad guys traitorous robots that look just like humans.
Should I read the books first?

BOOK SPOILER:
...
no. It ended about 60% of the way through the first book
Also, I thought the pacing of the first season was great. I know people have complained that it was dragged out but I appreciated it. One of the my biggest concerns about the show going in was how it was going to handle its world building and I think they did a fantastic job over the first few episodes (and throughout the rest) of capturing how I thought the locations would look from reading the books, as well as setting up the animosity between the belters and the inner planets, and that was mainly because they took their time with the characters.
