Kim Cattrall in the 80s is awesome. Big Trouble in Little China for fucks sake!

Also Porky's, Star Trek 6, and she's in an episode of the Logan's Run TV series, among others. No way should she be negative points.

Not only was she in it, she was the screamer.

Never seen it so I have no idea what that's referring too.

By the way, RE-ANIMATOR and FROM BEYOND are both awesome Lovecraft movies.

Yeah, I was mentally scoring Road Warrior when I started reading this thread, and I came up with 45 points. For one, +5 for Virgina Hey involved in the final battle.

Big Trouble in Little China is losing 5 points thanks to Kim Cattrall, scoring only 25, I think.

if Transformers doesn,t score super high on Ameritrash-style, then the metrics are flawed

I dunno Jeb. Maybe I had higher hopes. Re-animator would have been Ok without the Lovecraft name attached. I though it was pretty much crap.

From Beyond was better and I'll have to reconsider. I always thought Lovecraft's brain was wired differently. It is almost as though he had high amounts of endogenous tryptamines coursing through him all of the time. From Beyond speaks to this.

Lord Humongous also gets points for wearing an ice hockey goalie mask in Australia...an extra +5.

Posted the 1.0 version. Now includes 80's era punks and chase scenes. Don't get sad because your pet movie doesn't make it. It just might not be an AT film. Note, your film actually being a "good" film is likely a strike against it.

THEY LIVE gets a 7 point boost to 47 with this version.

Road House re-calculated:

{10 pts} - Wrestler featured in cast.
{10 pts} - Fight scene lasting more than 4 consecutive minutes.
BONUSES: {+05} for kung-fu.

{01 pts EACH} - Woman with more exposed breasts than spoken lines (+2)

{01 pts EACH} - Classic one-liner referenced from memory in post

+1 "Pain don't hurt."
+1 "Be nice, until it's time to not be nice."
+1 "WHO'S GONNA SAVE THEM FROM YOU?!?!"
+1 "A polar bear fell on me."
+1 "The name's Dalton."
+1 "I thought you'd be bigger."

{05 pts EACH} Sam Elliot's
moustache

ROAD HOUSE: 38 points

Still feels awfully low for a "poster child of Ameritrash" movie.

For a movie without aliens, zombies, nuclear wastelands, or chimps, it's doing really well.
