Not Sure,

I'm willing to look past the lack of inner beauty... to see the woman for what she is on the outside. (LOL)

(With apologies to Uba, that's too good of a one-liner to pass up.)

Actually I was referring to the Wonder Woman costumes.

That's sort of my point, Adrian. Good luck finding a female to wear one of these, at least one that you'd want to see wearing one of these, or who wasn't born with male genitalia.

Luck has nothing to do with it. You just have to pay enough money for Adrianne Palicki to sign the contract.

The verdict is in, my daughter, the target demographic, likes the first one shown in this thread. With no prompting, she said she likes that the boots match the pants. So there.

Yesterday I showed my wife the photos of the various costumes and she said she thought the first one with the matching boots was the best, and that if we didn't we were just a bunch of old male perves. I wasn't sure whether to put that comment up or not, so left it unsaid, then lo and behold, look what happened.

They should be, that is the character origin to a certain degree...

William Moulton Marston, a psychologist already famous for inventing the polygraph (forerunner to the magic lasso), struck upon an idea for a new kind of superhero, one who would triumph not with fists or firepower, but with love. "Fine," said Elizabeth. "But make her a woman."

Marston introduced the idea to Max Gaines, co-founder of All-American Publications. Given the go-ahead, Marston developed Wonder Woman with Elizabeth, whom Marston believed to be a model of that era's unconventional, liberated woman. Marston was also inspired by Olive Byrne, who lived with the couple in a polygamous/polyamorous relationship. Both women served as exemplars for the character and greatly influenced the character's creation.

I've even read stuff about how they like to have her tied up in the comics because it was sexy... and it was for many people. Not to mention that Wonder Woman loses her powers if she is every chained up by a male, at least in the early days anyway. She is a fetish hero from the get go (with hints of old school feminism/sexual power), let's not kid ourselves.

But that costume still sucks, it's just too shiny for me. The other one looks older, like it might actually be possible for the greeks to make it. Either way I give this project a very low probability of being any good. I like her in comics, don't know that the world really wants a live action wonder woman.

It's Roman in style, actually, not Greek.

The costume is not the problem it is the actress. Typical of todays actors that have that glazed look that says "Look at me ma, I'm acting" rather than living the part. Is she really having any fun or is she just in it for the paycheck?

I tried to watch the new "Hawaii 5-o" on TV the same shit acting as in the new Battlestar Gallactica. PAINFUL

As an old male perv, I was hoping they would ditch the leggings, Lynda Carter style.

I finally recognized this actress without ever getting around to googling her. I saw a still photo of a footchase scene and she had this horrible bitchface look. That's when I realized that she was the tall blonde girl from Friday Night Lights. She has some acting ability, but she also resembles a bulldog or maybe Winston Churchill when she gets intense.
