If it had been on Fox, they would have canceled during the first commercial break.

If it had been on the WB, they would have cancelled it in 2021.

While one could argue that the mere concept of resurrecting this franchise was a bad idea, once those costume pictures were leaked, it went viral, even in mainstream media. There was no coming back from that; they should have just closed up shop then and saved themselves the money.

They did change the costume after it was so poorly received. There was a shot of a stunt double wearing it that made it online.
