I used to game regularly with a guy who was really particular about what games we played. Which is the exact opposite of me. I always say "play whatever, I don't care, just put a game in front of me". But this guy, if we played something he didn't like or THOUGHT he might not like, he'd literally go outside, put his head down, or mill around sulking. I just didn't get it.
Bad attitude can also be those folks that get pissy about stuff that goes on in games. I just do not care enough about games to ever get mad about a certain play, missed rule, or whatever. People that do can fuck off from my table. I am not in this hobby to deal with people that get so invested in a game that they get _angry_ while trying to have fun with a group.

Your own house rules for something everyone is looking forward to playing.
I disagree about the bad attitude thing. What's the guy gonna do? Call ahead and say, ''guys I'm not feeling it. I won't make it out tonight'? Our game groups aren't big (3-5 guys) and if one guy at the last minute decides to bail when everyone else has planned this ahead of time with their wives and children, it sort of sucks. People can be in bad moods sometimes, it`s life and you shouldn't hide in your basement when you,re in a bad mood (unless you're bipolar or something). If someone shows up with a bad attitude, call them on it right away (don't be confrontation or mean tho) and that might snap the guy out of it. ''Look who snowed up full of vinegar!'' is something I would say (or someone would say to me).
Barney, this one made me laugh. Mostly because I'm bipolar.
I really try to keep up my part of the bargain, which is to stay medicated and everything else falls into place, mostly becauser I try to play within my groups. Shelly told me eons ago that I almost have an empathic sense of when moods are changing in a room. This is a social hobby as everyone knows. Fun killers are not needed. Paying attention to the overall mood of a group is my thing. Of course, it hasn't always worked, but it is a good rulew of thumb for those "mood disabled" guys. The great thing about the Fattie guys is their patience and great attitudes. it really makes it easy to have a good time and "spread the fun".

I think Cloudy wins the thread with Doritos and Cheese Poofs. My buddy Dom is the loudest eater I have ever come across and when Doritos hits the table, I almsot want to sneeze in the bowl on purpose just to shield my ears from the incoming decibels of guaranteed tilt-production.
This same noisy eater is the worst loser of all time. The second he realizes he's not going to win, he stops playing ''what's the point?'' even if it,s a 3-player game.
But the thing about bad attitudes and such is that this problem solves itself. They shouldn't be reinvited to game nights. If someone has ONE bad night with a bad attitude, I think it should be forgiven and tried to fix (that night). But if someone is known to be a collosal douche (like Ken when he gets blue balls) then just don't invite them back.
