Good lord. I'd love to do the whole thing but the game, White Dwarf, and hardback for $150 sounds fairly reasonable.

More like $345 for me...Since I don't have an iPad.

So an iBook would only be usable on an iDevice? Or would I be able to read those on a Kindle?

I like that the extra content can be purchased separately. I might just do that.

Tell you what...I just pumped the breaks for my excitement on this.
If someone wanted to go in for the full package, paint set, novel, eBooks, alternate models...It balloons to $690.97. And I thought Kickstarter Add-Ons were bad!

So, yeah. If I hadn't actually just picked out something else for my birthday, I might've suggested getting this for myself, but let's assume that I went in on this as a once-in-five-years kind of lark. What's the challenge level with the minis vis-a-vis sprues, assembly, and painting? To be clear, I've done only a very small amount of painting of a few crummy-looking BattleTech minis and very little assembly.

The stealers are pretty easy but the Terminators are very detailed, I did run across a youtube video that is a very in depth painting tutorial

I did pick up the White Dwarf earlier today but haven't been able to dig into it yet. ANd I have a copy of the game on hold.

According to my FLGS GW allocated the numbers of boxes to stores based on how much GW merchandise the store had moved in the previous year.

Damn I do like the add on rules, especially since I painted up my original termies as Dark Angels and I've got a bunch of Wolves I need to do.

So the game stores in my town suck, so I figured I'd pick up the iBooks version of white dwarf to check out the extended advertising for Space Hulk. I seriously hope I have some settings wrong, because their digital "magazine" is black text on white background with pictures thrown in...

Anyone have experience with the iBooks White Dwarf? Is this piece of shit really what I just paid for?

I am all over this like something that is all over something else.

Shit, been waiting all my life for those dicks to reprint this and shaft the eBay scalpers. Minor problem is weight because it is going to cost the fucking earth to get it sent here direct from GW in London. Should look fucking great!

Preorders from GW sold out in the UK now.

Edit: It looks like independent retailers should still have some in stock.

I like the new boarding torpedoes they have in the two scenarios in White Dwarf. The Space Marine player rolls a D6 to see what section of the hulk the torpedo attaches to. Should add some flexibility and replayability to the scenarios although I'm sure some at TOS will complain about more luck in an already too luck dependent game.

Space Hulk is a game where there's no real shame in losing. In fact there's a sort of nobility to a solid failure. Different attach points should be a nice addition.

No eBay APP ID défined in Kunena configuration

Buy this version. You get it fully painted and with actually playable models for the same price as an unpainted set, but with, pretty as fuck yet mostly unplayable without weighting the GS bases version.

I'm serious.
