Everything Mr White is saying is true. Even so, I went all-in on Forbidden Fortress after thinking about dropping it. I can afford it, and I enjoy the current game a lot (a LOT).

Dude! You're running multiple campaigns and posting very regularly to your thread devoted to the game. If you hadn't backed it I would have been upset!

What projects did Jem do? Did I miss out?

No, I just play a lot of Shadows of Brimstone with four ongoing campaigns.

Shellhead wrote: I love it when I see something potentially good on Kickstarter and then I am able to buy it later because the Kickstarter was successful enough that they could get the product into retail stores, or at least sell it direct from their website. That's how I picked up both Camp Grizzly and Zimby Mojo.

I'm very pleased when a new/young designer is able to successfully turn their vision into a fun game that makes it into retail outlets, and I laud the proper use of KickStarter for such ends! Just to set the record straight: Zimby Mojo was not a KickStarter.

Wow. That's some good reading right there. Many thanks for the links. Pete's investigation is fascinating.

It looks like I'll stay happy with my other dexterity game - KLASK.

KDM. Final countdown. Still in for BF Golden Lantern pledge and a couple of old expansions (Gorm and Dragon King).

Bracing for impact, though it'll be lessened somewhat by the stockpile of "culling money" I've accrued by getting rid of the unplayed or played out kruft in my collection.

In the meantime, I have some more miniatures to assemble.

Build and manage your own Jurassic Park? Heck, yeah. That color scheme? Hell, no.

www.kickstarter.com/projects/pandasaurus...island-1/description

I appreciate that it's different and going after a certain 80's/90's vibe, but it actually physically repels my eyes to look at. Way too bright on that green. And with the pink and light blue, it looks like some unicorn pony Easter TV special that a 5 year-old girl would watch. Too bad, as it seems like it might be a decent game.

Blood Rage has climbed its way into my top 10 of all damn time at this point. Right alongside Cosmic Encounter and Wiz-War. No surprise I backed Rising Sun today.

Rising Sun looks awesome but I want to see the stretch goals before I commit. Because I just KNOW I'm going to know like half a dozen people who will also have copies.

hilariously they can't upload the stretch goals because they broke Kickstarter.

It's also worth noting:
1) There are no early birds.
2) CMON always open the Pledge Manager long after the campaign ends.

I predict a sixth KS exclusive clan, like the purple guys in Blood Rage. I also wonder if they'll throw some Massive Darkness cards for the Kami.

Another Edit- Says April 2018 for delivery; I predict no sooner than September.

Also at $100 I expect there to be some retail expansion(s) included, basically like Blood Rage. If it is like Blood Rage, you may even wait for retail discounts down the line- there's nothing vital in BR exclusives at all, unless you really, really like purple.

I agree that the Blood Rage exclusives aren't vital, but some of the monsters are interesting and were worth the extra money from pledging in my opinion.

There looks to be more exclusive monsters here unfortunately.
