OK, so we all make assumptions about all these people we "meet" online either because of their avatar, how they comport themselves publicwise, or whatever. For example:

- Southernman remembers playing games out of "Little Wars" with HG Wells when he was in his mid-50s and now has a video game-addicted teenager a fraction of his suspected age

- Steve Avery is an unsavory character with lacivious appetites and a prediliction for beach wear

- Matt Loter punches people a lot and is full of hardcore fury

- Pete Ruth is an ultra-right wing gun nut that probably wears sunglasses on the back of his head

- Ken B. is finally back from his sabbatical

- Schweig is a German

- MJ doesn't like anything

Who else? What do you assume about these people that post here?

Barnes is one of the ugliest guys I've ever seen. Probably because of his sickening vegan diet.

Skeletor live in Snake Mountain and worships at the alter of Christian Peterson.

Chapel is an arrogant Eurogamer who thinks he's better then everyone on here and climb mountains to prove it.

Uba is extraordinarily hot and has wings!

Matt Drake is a misogynist who plays all his games in strip clubs.

Ken B is a really nice guy.

Branegian is the bestest poster we've ever had and it was a shame to lose him. But "Je mais souvenir"

Black Barney is bi and has a really nice ass.

Dysjunct is too intellectual for us.

Schweig! is a troll half the time and a sensitive the child the other half.

Pete drinks burboun all day and stares longingly at his neighbour.


This is fun.

Yeah, those match up with some of mine...I've always assumed that Uba is a goth. Like, one of those goth moms that has perfected the withering stare of doom.

I bet Chapel has a really sharp haircut.

For some reason, I think Black Barney wears lumberjack shirts and has a beard.

Michael Barnes - Doesn't like AT any more, now plays euro - and video games. Probably was a stubby nerd in school and therefore embraced films, music, vegetarianism etc. to become cool. Hates everything mainstream, be it Led Zeppelin or FFG.

Matt Loter - hXc4life! Likes to beat up people. Coolest dude on F:At. Since everybody else here is a nerd they want to be friends with him.

Southernman - Cranky old dude. Nobody knows how he got from NZ to England... probably has an age difference of at least 30 years to his wife.

dogmatix - Was a hippie, but now works for a company that builds bombs or somesuch. His wife is a CIA agent.

MattDP - Got fired from his old job, because instead of working played TS with me all the time.

JonJacob - Pothead. Wants to get along with everyone. Is informed about the world's problems, but doesn't care.

ubarose - Is probably undead. Only without sleep could she manage to work, homeschool and run a website.

Mr. Skeletor - Not gay.

Black Barney - Hangs around teenagers too much (XBox Live) and adopted their language and behaviour. Gets too easily aroused by pictures of hot female celebrities. Is also Ken B.s ex-lover.

Ken B. - A nice guy.

superflytnt - Lacks self-confidence. Needs to compensate with an arsenal of guns and brags a lot.

Dan Daly - Typical conservative Christian American. Violence is ah-okay, but boobies are the work of the devil.

mjl1873 - Grouchy smurf.

Stephen Avery - Frank the tank. Decided to become an elementary school art teacher, because all the hot chicks study that in college.

Yikes, Schweig and Barnes together have painted a fairly accurate portrait. My wife said I had a cute butt just this morning so props to JonJacob too

I'd love to meet up with Barney someday, but man, am I going to be disappointed when I find out that I'm not hanging out the Richard Simmons.
