I won a PD tournament in NYC like 10 years ago. I fucking loved that game. I remember skipping class the day it came out to go get it at the mall as soon as they opened and then just playing for like 15 hours straight.

I had a couple of friends that worked at two different Namco arcades and they were pinball nuts...I used to help them clean the machines up. The problem with pinball is that it requires TONS of maintenance to keep them functioning properly. That's why machines in pizza joints wind up covered in grease and with non-working targets.
That JURASSIC PARK machine drove me nuts. I HATE the music.
ATTACK FROM MARS was pretty fun...I liked the wiggly martians, that was fun.
CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON was pretty darn good too...
Once you descend in to Pin collecting you better be ready to shell out some serious cash.
All those proprietary parts, all that maintenance, etc.
And yet, new pinball machines keep coming out every year which makes me smile.
I love pinball, I just wish I played more tables more frequently. I doubt i'll ever own one. I'll just play on others machines.
At least prices on Neo-GEO MVS cartridges and Capcom CPS-2 B-Boards are reasonable. Not to mention there are many, many, many reasonable JAMMA PCBs out there pricewise to the aspiring arcade collector.
I should really spend more money on building up my arcade stuff. Such fun. Time to get my gear out of storage.
Anyone wants to talk Neo Geo i'm game.
PS: Alien vs Predator is the greatest beat'em up of all time
My father-in-law is really into pinball machines. Each kid in their family gets one of his machines once they get a house/move somewhere permanent. I can't remember which one is my wife's, it may be Sure Shot.
And yes, Aliens vs. Predator is totally awesome.

you guys know that Perfect Dark is coming to XboxLiveArcade yes? I can't WAIT
When is the release on that? I remember hearing that some time ago but...but haven't heard anything since.
I want NBA Jam on XBLA.
Though I'd love if Capcom [and other companies] would release some of their older beat'em ups on XBLA. I know Capcom probably doesn't have the rights to some of the properties anymore, but they do have some non-IP gameslike Knights of the Round, and this Mech beat'em up that is awesome that they could release.
