So it's Pandemic meets Last Night on Earth meets Risk?

Anybody read the rules? Because that sounds like a winning combination.

Printed out, but I watched the video review up on BGG and it looks friggin fantastic.

And Barnes, this thing is SIXTY BUCKS. Is that cool with you? Where's the review we're entitled to from you? HMMMM?
EDIT: THAT'S FUCKIN RIGHT BARNESY - YOU GET ON THAT!

At least this is a different scope of zombpocalypse!

I hope there are rules for differing factions depending on which part of the world you live in. Folks in Africa should be better at day-to-day survival while lacking advanced technology and medicine while folks in developed countries like USA and European nations should suck at subsistence living while doing better with tech research, etc.

Also I like the juxtaposition of the end of humanity as it literally eats itself into extinction and their vision =)

"Our vision, one day, is to organize an alternative school based on teaching worldly and critical thinking skills, while tearing down social barriers. The school will be closely integrated with a local community that strives for an advanced organic way of living. Community based companies such as a board game company, would allow students access within their curriculum to design their own games, while learning math, English, art, and business skills. This is why we strive to do most of the game design and artwork in house so that this responsibility will one day be passed to students. Ultimately, we have a strong desire to live in a progressive community that teaches our children to be leaders for the future."

I think the main difference is in available resources / population distribution. This will make certain techs easier/harder to get. That's my impression anyway.

Well, if it means anything I think WE came up with the basic game premise in one of those trash design threads. Nah, I'm sure it was really an independent idea...right? Makes one wonder though. ;)

Very true. But I can't help but desire our future's leaders to have been educated to some extent on WWZ protocols before it's too late.

Twilight Creations should be getting paid a royalty by several other companies. That original $20 Zombies!!! base game has been used repeatedly as a zombie game design kit.

I was thinking the same thing--there's a thread back there on this entire subject...

Do we get royalties? I am selflessly giving all proceeds that I receive for this game to F:AT
