Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)

Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.

× WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!

This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.

Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;

Two games enter! One game leaves!

Anyway, Marvel Heroes did put up a fight when most were expecting this to be no contest... Now you should all go buy it before there are no copies left and its price shoots because of its OOP soon to be classic status.

Yep - I spotted Juniper's vote (this stinks of a Barnes face-saving plot).

That makes it 12 - 12, which means (under Trashdome rules) that MadDog is required to give the 'thumbs up' to one and the coup-de-grace to the other.

Mad Dog made a negative remark about Marvel Heroes a few pages back, so I expect that he will cast his deciding vote in favor of Heroscape, er Marvel Heroscape.

Too late to vote?

If I can, I vote Marvel Heroscape.

Why? Cos you can fit it in to normal heroscape and have the Hulk square off against Roman legionaires and Knights Templar. It don't get much cooler.

That was The Expanding Man being added after Trashdome had closed - I seem to remember Notahandle being denied in a similar situation to vote for Roborally in 'Galaxy Trucker vs Roborally' ..... I still smell a Mikey Barnes fix !

I used The Expanding Man's vote as the tie-breaker since I haven't played either game, just basic Heroscape. It seemed more meaningful than tossing a coin.

I still say kookoobah didn't actually vote... I thought it wasn't enough posting a comment, you have to actually state your vote don't you? That coupled with the fact that there's a late vote added in smells rotten! :b

The real score, and you all know it is 12 to 11 for Marvel Heroes...
