What IOS games have you been playing?

What was the boardgame? (BGG is blocked at work, thank Christ)

You make a deck with creatures rated from 1 to 5 stars with various costs (your deck has a total cost limit), you can enchant your creatures to higher levels so they are more powerful and can use more abilities. You also have Runes which come into effect at different times and act like spells from you (the wizard). It's a bit like Magic, I really like it.

Seeing those Avalon Hill chits gives me nightmares about trying to learn one of those games once. I think it was called Dark Emperor. It was beyond me.

A friend of mine just released a free game called Lava Laboratory. It's a very simple 'endless platformer.' I mention it because I'm rocking the top of the leaderboards.

Elemental Kingdom?

Just hopped off that train a month ago and on to SolForge. EK was fun while it lasted but once it reached that wall, my friends and I stepped back to realize that we were still playing as a compulsion and not because it was any fun anymore.

Metalface taught me Netrunner! Tell him Crane, formerly of Utah, says hello. That guy played CC:A with me too, and destroyed me.

Warhammer Quest is free right now.

Ska, nah it's not Elemental Kingdom although I'm sure one of them borrowed heavily from the other. It's really just called Magic Realms HD (I think it says HD, i can't remember). It's a free app for Blackberry and it's a blast. Super addictive. I finally got my first 5-star creature in my deck and when he's out, it's an auto-win.

I did? I don't remember beating you in CC:A, I'm awful at that game. Was it Pocket Battles: Celts vs Romans? I am good at that game.

Hearthstone is out for iOS. I checked out last night, played through the tutorial and beat the Shaman. Then got my butt handed to me by the Priest. Much simpler than Magic so far, but it's fun.
