Operation: 360 (I need your help!)

I just want to say that I am so relieved that Operation: 360 isn't a discussion about re-theming this site as a shrine to EuroGames.

Some communities are better than others. The more complicated/strategic the game, the better. Halo 3 is terrible. CoD4 is a little better. Rainbow Six 2/Left 4 Dead is pretty good. The people who play the board game conversions tend to be cool. One exception to this is Uno. Apparently, being camera enabled, it's basically a pick-up simulator for virtual sex.

I played GRAW 1 and 2. The single-player is pretty dull. The multiplayer is okay. I'd pass. The Rainbow Six games are much more visceral and with the cover system, more interesting. Still, I wouldn't play those either for just the single-player (they do have co-op play).

it really depends on what you like. i loved GRAW and liked the rainbow six games. if you can get GRAW for cheap its worth it.

as for the stupid people on headsets....my little brother is a perfect example. he plays a ton of L4D, TF2 and other stuff on the PC. and he is 'bored' with it..so he'll play music clips through the mike, is constantly going "omygod" and "goofing" around when other people are trying to play the game. I love my little brother, but when he does this I want to kill him. I am glad I don't live with him though.

that's what the whole AGE and 2old2play groups are for, to get away from those fucktards and find some people who want to just play.

More than likely, most of the MP I'll be doing will be with friends and F:AT folks...playing with random people terrifies me, you never know when they might start T-Painin' too much or proposition you.

CRACKDOWN is a blast. I've only played for about an hour but I like it better than GTA so far. It doesn't have that "attitude" which I find really lame. Instead of attitude, it has ridiculousness, which I like better.

Hey, I didn't think about it but another trade option is points or Live cards...I'll trade games for those.

The charm of Crackdown is that:
A: You kill things. You don't watch cutscenes or go bowling.
B: You grow in power, and have superhuman abilities. I'd rank it as my favorite superhero game until Infamous. Leaping between buildings toward the end of the game is really addictive.
C: Online co-op. (common now, but back then, fairly rare.)

i think there is a DLC for crackdown that was free. i forget what was in that one and what was i nthe pay-for DLC.

Man, GRAW is so amazing. i loved it. very tough and fun.

Mike, please play GTAIV at some point. I consider it to be the best video game of all time. It's just an unbelievable experience.

the few people i've talked to who've played both, say that the 360 version of MUA is much better than the Wii.

I haven't, so just passing it along.
