What KICKSTARTER(S) are you BACKING and WHY?

Same here. I thought the KS would be a pretty safe bet with Ares/OSS having published other titles, but it looks more and more like they just don't know how to manage the production. It's not even their design, they just need to put together decent components and rules. Both of those things -- the decency of the rules could be debated -- were already available in the 2nd edition and expansions. I don't understand how putting together a 3rd edition package could be so problematic.

After a long legal battle, the 3rd ed sees the light of day. I played this a whole bunch back in the late 80's, great memories. They say they streamlined the rules and made other revisions.

Nah, it's a card game with a twee theme so you're good.

Have we reached peak kickstarter?
Side note, it's awesome that the OP was voted down and hidden. The level of denial in the thread among many posters in unreal.

Oh, that thread...
This comment typifies everything horrible: www.boardgamegeek.com/article/23419204#23419204
Even if every single thing in this is factual and not overstated, the only way I'd give this guy any money is if the actual drugs are already in my hand. For boardgames? You wish. Climb back down in the cellar.
What a fucked-up hobby we slum in. So many people so desperate for games that they'll throw money at people like this, and KS gives them a funnel.

blah
Great setting and original game, but it looks like they're doing that crappy modern design thing where they have cubes and crap on the character roster. It's like some desperate move to look modern or to hopefully draw in some euro fans. The new Conan game had it as well. So does the RuneWars miniature game. Don't put some symbol or cube to represent a resource, attack or spell. Just write the damn name! Heck, other places on the same sheet list '3 dice' not a picture of three dice. These sheets aren't language agnostic.
Lame

Awesome. I'm in for this one. I watched his twitch stream of a game; I was really impressed at how much it seemed like real football plays.
