I always used the liquid cement which comes with a brush to apply it. Worked great for me but I'm no expert on the subject.

Just so I know for sure...

The stuff in the red tube is what I have. Is that different from the stuff in the black plastic thing you were talking about?

It's just plastic cement. Melts the plastic to bond it together.

I prefer Gorilla super glue gel (cyanoacrylate), mostly because I plan on re-basing my models later, and I don't like the permanence and longer set time of plastic cement. The gel doesn't run as much as the liquid cyanoacrylate, so I don't get it on my fingers as much.

I tracked down Broadsides and Boarding Parties locally for $35. Won't be picking it up until October, but I've got fingers crossed that this pulls through.

Grand Prix showed up in the mail. I P500'd it back when I was really high on Thunder Alley; unfortunately that interest has waned a bit. I probably would have cancelled my P500 had I remembered it, but I guess we'll find out if Grand Prix grabs me over the long term the way that Thunder Alley just didn't.

So, I found a copy of the Horned Rat at a small game store in town, and picked up Warhammer Quest the Adventure card game, to boot. No expansions were available, though.

Horned rat looks like it's going to be a harder to find one, so good on you.

Good job. I'd love to find a Horned Rat hanging around, but all the game stores around me are cleaned out.

My FFG haul came in this week, and I just finished getting the two Relic expansions crammed into the main box. That is now a very full box.

This weekend I was in Columbus (Ohio), and visited a game store called The Guard Tower. No such store exists in my city, so it was pretty awesome to see all of this stuff in one place. I failed several saving throws and walked out with my first-ever Games Workshop product, Betrayal at Calth. I look forward to checking it out.... after assembling and painting all these dudes.

side note- a car in the parking lot had a license plate that said "WAAAAGH"

In the interests of full disclosure: I cancelled my Robinson Crusoe pre-order.

This stuff:

I also got my Grand Prix P500 on Friday. I'm all-in on Thunder Alley, so I was happy to see this show up. The NPC car system looks to add a fair amount of additional strategy to the game. Also arriving on Friday was Ginkgopolis, which took 2.5 days to make it from France to Atlanta via Germany and New Jersey. Good job, UPS.

That's the stuff I ended up buying. It made those Genestealers much easier to assemble, thanks!

Yeah, it was a last ditch effort as every other place was sold out here too. Anyone looking for Fury of Drac, this place still has a couple copies left. Shipping to the States will be a bitch though.

I grabbed Forbidden Stars and talisman blood moon from CSI the day the GW/FFG split was announced. Wanted to get more talisman (I don't own any corner board expansions) but I couldn't justify the cost.

I really liked Forbidden Stars but in my brain it was a "Ok, but I own Starcraft and still like it"

It's hard to tell if Fury of Dracula is going to run out soon here in the States. Miniature Market and especially CoolStuff seem to have a supply dropped off at their door every couple of days. Or maybe they are rationing them to keep the frenzy going. FoD has fallen back to page 3 of the Top Selling list at CoolStuff and they still have lots.
