I wish they'd make more Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance type games with couch co-op. It's infinitely irritating that there's so few hubby-wife games like that.

Yeah, it sucks. Last time I checked there wasn't any new stuff for couch players. The last one I found was FUSE which was mediocre but beggars can't be choosers.

I didn't realize those sites sold keys for Origin games.

I suppose they technically DO.... although I still haven't heard back from them. Doing some googling, I found that they apparently sent out bad Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 keys to many people. Very annoying.

Finally got a chance to play titanfall 2, as others have said, it is very good, much better feeling than the multiplayer beta weekends. Saying that, the maps aren't as good as titanfall 1, there are too many areas I'm running on the ground instead of bouncing off walls. Maybe they will release some titanfall 1 maps in an upcoming map pack

Just got the Mega Man X Collection for PS2. It's X through X6 - a helluva lot of Mega Man. The SNES games look like great ports - seems like the whole ROM is loaded into RAM, so no load times, which I was worried about. Now, I just have to "git gud" at Mega Man again...

I finally got a chance to play Titanfall 2 last night. I have only run the gauntlet (many times) and played about the first 30 minutes of the campaign. I like it so far but I still haven't been in a titan or looked at MP. I'm definitely hitting it hard tonight.

those on the XB1, there's a FortressAT "club" if you are interested. we tried something similar with a Fortress gamertag years ago, but this will organize it alittle easier.

Did someone make a Titanfall 2 F:AT group? I'll join.

Finished Dishonored yesterday. I didn't cheat too much, and just ran with it. I might play this again, using more sneaking and less murdering. I thought it was well worth the $10.

Warning: Spoiler!

Next stop: Elite Dangerous. I dragged out an old Saitek X36 joystick that I bought for some reason or the other back in 2000, that was still in its box, unopened. We'll see how this works out.

Speaking of dishonored, I am a horrible liar! I've been playing Star Trek Online again. The missions after level 10 are a bit to more than a bit better, though they all follow roughly the same arc. I'm not trying to encourage anyone to play (OR JOIN MY FLEET, GDMIT), only to apologize. :)

Taking a break from VtM:B, and played Skyrim. Again.

Despite it being old (I'm playing the original version), Skyrim is a beautiful place, in an idyllic kind of way. I'm okay having 15 minutes of walk to be broken with one or two minutes skull bashing.

Hooking it up to my TV through HDMI makes it look 10 times better with more saturation.

Spent a great deal of time with Titanfall 2 on PC tonight. I'm not sure how far into the campaign I am, but I'm enjoying it quite a lot. The shooting feels great, and jumping around from wall to wall is great fun. It's also fun being in the titan, and I like that you get a nice diversity.

I tried out a couple of multiplayer matches, and didn't do as terribly as I thought I would. I am still not entirely sure how some of the game modes work. Tutorials would be nice. I also suspect player counts on PC are an issue. It's a shame, since the game is cool and the amount of stuff to unlock seems vast. It was frustrating being level 1 and finding myself in a match with level 50 players.

A cooperative horde mode would be much appreciated.

I've heard console base is much better than PC at the moment. That doesn't help you but there it is; I guess it sold poorly compared to COD and Battlefield one which is just a complete shame. Dumb time to release the game.

For multiplayer, you're looking at three modes (IMHO):
Attrition: Titanfall 1's mode. There are points, you get them for killing the enemy team AND for killing enemy NPC drops as well. Great mode.
Bounty Hunt: New mode, amongst the most popular. Fun. NPC drops are on no player's side. Both teams kill NPC drops to get money---and kill members of the other team to take half their money. Bank locations open between waves of NPCs where you must deposit money to bank it---first to 5000 dollars wins.
Last Titan Standing: Tense, tense mode that usually fills with serious players. Everyone starts in a Titan. I think 5v5. Last team with a Titan standing wins. No respawns. If I had a crew of 4-5 people I'd play this mode more.

I'm hoping the campaign will teach me how to steal another titan's battery because so far I don't know how to do that.
They really do just throw you in the deep end.
